To download your driving license with your mobile number, follow these steps:
- Go to the Parivahan Seva portal – https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/.
- Click on “Driving Licence Related Services” under Online Services section on the homepage.
- Now, select your state and RTO. You will then be redirected to the Sarathi Parivahan portal.
- Select “Driving Licence” then “Print Driving Licence”.
- Choose “Mobile Number”, enter your mobile number and date of birth, then click “Submit”.
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and click “Submit”. Your driving licence will then be displayed in PDF form, ready for download.
To download your driving license via mParivahan, install the app, log in using your mobile number, navigate to “DL Services,” enter your license number and date of birth, verify with the OTP, and download the license in PDF format.
Details on a Driving License
A driving license includes the following details:
- Full Name: The complete name of the license holder as it appears on official documents.
- Date of Birth: The birth date of the license holder, used to verify age and eligibility for driving.
- Blood Type: The blood group of the license holder, which can be crucial in case of emergencies.
- Parent’s Name: Typically, the father’s name is included for additional identification and verification.
- Residential Address: The current home address of the license holder, used for correspondence and identification.
- License Number: A unique number assigned to the driving license for tracking and identification purposes.

- Issue Date: The date on which the driving license was issued.
- Expiry Date: The date until which the driving license is valid. After this date, the license needs to be renewed.

Update/Modify My Mobile Number On Driving License
If you want to update your mobile number on your driving license, follow the easy steps outlined below:
- Visit https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/.
- Select your state.
- From the “Others” menu, click on “Mobile Number Update.”
- Enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- After authentication, enter your new mobile number and click “Submit” to update.
